The Weekly Preview card on the Briefing tab renders Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — the back-half of the trading week when reflection is most useful. It computes locally from your last seven days of trades, with no AI call, so it ships zero cost per Free user.
Three bullet types compete for the slots, in priority order:
* Best setup — your highest-win-rate playbook this week (≥ 3 trades on it). Falls back to the top tag with the same threshold. * Risk vs. plan — average per-trade risk against your configured Risk-per-Trade setting. Flags drift greater than 0.3 percentage points in either direction. * Time concentration — a single weekday (≥ 50 % of total loss-magnitude) or hour (≥ 40 %) that absorbed the bulk of the week's losses.
If you have fewer than three closed trades in the past seven days, the card shows a soft empty state instead of forced bullets — small samples don't tell you anything honest.
- Best-setup bullet rising over weeks — you're finding repeatable structure. Increase volume on that playbook, journal more trades on it.
- Risk-cut bullet flagging "over" — you've been bigger than your plan said. Either tighten the next 10 trades or revise the plan upward consciously.
- Risk-cut bullet flagging "under" — you're playing too small. Often a confidence problem, not a math problem.
- Weekday concentration of losses — find the journal entries on that day. The pattern is rarely random; it's usually fatigue, a recurring news slot, or a market regime that doesn't suit your edge.
- Hour concentration — same logic at intraday resolution. London-open losses behave differently than New-York-close losses.
- Empty state with n < 3 — keep journaling. Three trades unlocks the read; the more you log, the sharper the bullets become.
Free and Pro users see the Weekly Preview from Saturday morning through Monday evening. It is the same shape across the week — three bullets — so you can compare what your strongest setup was *this* week vs. *last* week without parsing prose.
Pro Plus users skip the preview entirely. They get the full Weekly Digest instead — an AI-narrated long-form on Sunday at 6 pm local that covers the same three angles plus mood arc, written-out lessons, and a forward-looking note for the week ahead. The preview is the teaser; the digest is the deep-read.
For every tier, the bullets are honest about sample size. We don't fabricate a strongest-setup line out of two trades. We don't flag a weekday concentration when losses are spread evenly. The card stays silent or empty rather than fill space with noise — which is the only way it stays trustworthy week over week.
