Discipline Scorecard

Discipline you can actually measure

Four behavioural metrics scaled 0-100, weighted equally — no leaderboards, no public scoring.

Trading outcomes are noisy. A bad week can mean a bad strategy, a temporary slump, or random variance — and you cannot tell the difference from the equity curve alone. The Discipline Scorecard separates the signal from the noise by measuring four behavioural metrics that you can control: how often you followed your plan, how consistently you sized risk, how regularly you journalled, and how you graded your own execution. Results down but discipline up means the strategy itself is weak. Results up but discipline down means it's a streak, not a method.

01

Plan-Adherence

Every trade review carries a plan-adherence flag — was this trade inside the briefing plan you wrote in the morning? The score is the percentage of reviews where you marked the trade adherent. The cohort-relative benchmark calibrates the threshold so traders who don't journal pre-market don't get a free pass.

  • Percentage of trade reviews marked plan-adherent
  • Calibrated against a cohort of similar trader behaviour
  • Period filter: 30 days / 90 days / all time
  • Drives the Onyx-Engine's behavioural-flag detection

02

Risk-Sizing

The percentage of losing trades where the loss stayed within your declared risk-per-trade (with a 20% slippage tolerance). A trader risking 1% per trade who routinely loses 3% has a Risk-Sizing score of zero — and the score tells them to fix that before tuning the entry criteria.

  • Percentage of losers within declared risk-per-trade
  • 20% slippage tolerance — accounts for gap and spread
  • Calculated from your account size and the trade outcome

03

Journal-Streak

Consecutive trading days with a journal entry. 14 days running = 100 points; the score decays linearly so a 7-day streak is 50 points. The streak resets if you skip a day, and the dashboard shows the longest streak you've had so it's a habit-loop, not a punishment.

  • Consecutive days with a journal entry, capped at 14
  • Linear scaling: 7 days = 50 points, 14 days = 100
  • Longest streak surfaced on the briefing kicker
  • 22:00 push notification reminder before midnight reset

04

Execution-Grade

The percentage of self-graded trades that you scored A or B. The grade is your judgement, not the AI's — the score measures how often you think you executed well. A high score with a falling equity curve is a sign that the criteria you grade against are too lenient.

  • Percentage of self-graded trades scored A or B
  • Self-honesty calibration against P&L outcome
  • Period filter: 30 days / 90 days / all time
  • No public leaderboard — the grade is yours alone
